Thanks for your help. BUT the lock that was suggested would NOT fit. So we have put the old one back in.
We have used the 2 chrome handles (which we ordered) on another door.

Loved the lock. Slow coming.

Followed the instructions exactly, pre-drill 2mm hole for the screws to hold the face plate on and drove the screws in by hand, quite tight, 3/4 of the way in the screw head broke off. Devastating - no way to repair other than to make a mess and drill it out and then make a plug...
Lock itself looks of high quality.
