The Velocity is the go-to mechanical lever entrance set when wanting to be rid of a Tri-Lock.
I can't say they are as popular as a Nexion however they have a solid construction, a modern slim profile and running on the tried and tested 530 latch who could argue.
The only thing to look out for when retro fitting in place of the Trilock is lever height will be lower on the Velocity and may possibly clash with a security door lever for example. The only other thing is the velocity does seem to be reliant on its internal and external lever plates being absolutely square and aligned with each other for smooth operation between the cylinders.
Love the wide D strike plate to fully cover the Trilock T strike plate and don't skimp and fit the heavy-duty strike cup. Not only does it offer maximum strength in this area, but it looks smick and finished.
