Trio began operation in the early 1970’s, producing a niche range of screen door and continuous hinges.
Trio Group Australia (“Trio”) is a customer centric and reliable hardware solutions provider that sources and distributes door hardware, plumbing and gardening products across Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, Europe, United Arab Emirates and the world over.
Backed with an established track record of over 40 years and counting, Trio first began manufacturing hinges for screen doors and timber doors in Wingfield South Australia and quickly out grew its premises a few times to finally occupy a 12,000 sqm warehouse in Kilburn and boast over 200 employees. Trio later acquired the full manufacturing interests of Lane Architectural Hardware, Warlan Hardware, Distinctive Engineering and RWF Nails and more, thus evolving into the only large-scale hinge manufacturing operation that comprises of 7 unique brand names and 28 distinctive patents in Australia.
Over the years, Trio has forged close ties with both local and international stakeholders and partners, ensuring continued relationships and strengthening our commitment to quality solutions. With our ever-increasing capacity and capabilities, we remain as leaders in our field, and serve a diverse base of customers in a multitude of industries. Today, we are an experienced, loyal, and professional team that combines competency and versatility with Trio’s commitment in delivering our variety of distinct solutions.

Segment Focus
Trio is working hard to provide ‘solutions’ for segments such as builders, DIFM, DIY, landscapers and the like through its business partners. Segmentation is capturing a ‘group of like minded customers’ and establishing their needs and wants to assist the Retail, OEM, Trade, Landscape & Architectural merchants in fulfilling each segments requirements.
With the aim of ‘making hardware easy’ Trio prides itself in improving the delivery of new products that are the easiest to use or install no matter the skill level of the customer/installer. It is this aim to deliver a better solution to existing needs and wants that drives the Product Development team to deliver better offerings.
