Read instructions carefully and you will have no problem fitting it yourself in about half an hour including programming the codes. Works well and at good price. No need to carry keys but keys still work so ideal for units where caretakers may need access.

What a fantastic digital lock to replace my original keyed leverset. 4 ways to open including key if batteries go flat or electronics go crazy. So easy to program PIN and RFID cards and discs.

Always locks on exit unlike original lock. I feel so much more secure in my apartment now. And it looks fantastic in satin nickel finish.

For all you DIY people the Carbine 3in1 lock is simple to install once you have removed the old leverset

I couldn't recommend the Carbine 3in1 digital lock more highly.

Good points for:
>. Looking, feeling, operating as expected from description
>. Happy about “can’t be locked inside” design and relative ease of (e.g.) coding a Myki card
>. New feature of “press hash to swap Passage and Lock modes” is useful and allows battery cover to stay in place except for special settings
>. However was slightly spooked by realisation that (e.g.) teenager exiting in passage mode could say to himself “I wonder what the lighted hash key does” - and lock himself out.
