I can't comment on the reliability or longevity of this model of Gainsborough door fittings, but we have a dozen or so of their "Contractor" model bought more than 26 years ago. Some of those have broken, and of course that specific model is no longer available.

The current G3 Sofia appears identical, but doesn't seem widely available. The Lock Shop had the one we wanted at a reasonable price, compared with other sites (where they were mostly out of stock, too).

So: happy to find replacements that look the same as the earlier model, happy with The Lock Shop's straightforward ordering and prompt dispatch.

I’m an owner builder still going some 20 years after starting. Ordering additional door handles is easy from the lock shop.
The handles come with the latch..I wasn’t sure..but they definitely do
