I have fitted the door handles to existing doors. Fitted perfectly to old doors- 10 minutes to remove old knobs and install new handles. the mechanism feels solid and smooth and looks great - the square cover is so easy to install with just one grub screw to tighten. Love them- will recommend and buy again when needed on the next project

I just replaced all the door handles in my house with the Gainsborough Neue Series range of privacy, passage and dummy locks. This was an upgrade from the Choice (basic) range. The Neue series really is that much better - the mechanism is sturdier, giving a more solid feel. The finish is excellent and installation is quite easy. The locking mechanism is better than the Choice range (which have broken 2 or three times, out of the 5 that I bought).
