Removed old door fixtures ready for a simple refit only to find that the hole was oversized for the new handle. A little head scratching and then some searching on the Lock shop site and then I found these adapter plates. Made to the same high standards as the door hardware, they were a simple solution to the problem. Looks fantastic and I didn’t need to any other work on the door to fit the hardware. Love it.

After measuring everything very carefully to ensure the beautiful Iver polished brass handle set would fit into our existing doors we went ahead and ordered the lock to test it out. Pulled the old handle off again and proceeded to fit the handle. Discovered whilst fitting that the old cut out was larger than the new fitting. Extremely disappointed that I failed to check this out however assuming this may have been a problem previously encounter by others, I went back to The lock Shop site and found the adapter plated to match. Perfect solution. Worked a treat and the handle still looks magnificent.
