I bought this lock to replace an original unknown brand that broke on my door. From what I read, it fits industry standard holes. Unsure whether my existing lock was industry standard or not, but I had to redrill all new holes and cover up the existing ones that the new lock didn't cover due to it's smaller dimensions, so issues there which may not be the fault of the new lock. However, it did take a month for the lock to be delivered
